Project Overview
Easy Décor approached us with the goal of creating a smartphone app that would enable homeowners to redecorate their homes without having to pay pricey interior designers. They need an easy-to-use tool that could provide recommendations for layouts, color schemes, and furnishings based on pictures of the space. The intention was to make high-quality design affordable for average homes.
Project Idea and Goal
The idea was really simple: develop an app that would allow users to take pictures of their homes and receive customized design recommendations. Easy Décor aimed to make DIY home remodeling less daunting for the general public by bridging the gap between expert interior design and do-it-yourself projects.
Instead of creating a complex professional tool, we concentrated on creating something that felt more like consulting a buddy with a keen understanding of design. Making the AI ideas feel natural and personal rather than merely basic template suggestions that would not function in actual houses was the biggest challenge.
