To be honest, we were shocked by what we built. A medical app that truly functions how physicians and nurses envision it. Medicore manages patient relationships, medicines, and data without the typical hassles.
Project Overview
The medical community needs something better. We observed their struggles with unwieldy systems that seemed to make even basic activities difficult. As a result, we developed Medicore, a mobile solution that truly benefits time-pressed medical personnel.

Medicore Design Process
We did not take a linear approach. We probably should have done more study before prototyping. However, its messiness gave us insights that a strict method could have overlooked. The finest answers can occasionally be found in unlikely places.

Timeline of The Project
From concept to launch, six months. You know how these things work, but we anticipated that it would take four. At first, it was disheartening because the research process took longer than anticipated. However, in hindsight, that additional time most likely prevented us from experiencing more serious issues later.
Research
To learn about the actual challenges they face on a daily basis, we spoke with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy employees.
User Persona
Developed profiles based on real medical professionals rather than hypothetical consumers that we had in mind.
Wireframe
Created schematics that mirrored the actual workflows of healthcare personnel.
Visual Design
Selected fonts and colors that are appropriate for stressful situations and hospital lights.

Developed and evaluated while adhering to stringent privacy regulations using actual medical data.
Challenges We Faced
Emotional Design
It was more difficult than we anticipated to make medical software seem soothing without coming across as amateurish.
Category Filters
It turned out to be quite difficult to arrange different kinds of medications in a way that made sense for various professions.
Image Handling
Compressing medical pictures without sacrificing details that might influence diagnostic or treatment choices was necessary.
Location Accuracy
In older buildings and hospital basements, GPS tracking for pharmacy connections kept breaking.
Content Gaps
We had to create workarounds since some medical information was not digitally accessible.
What We Achieved
An app for smartphones that medical professionals genuinely want to use. Prescription management became easier, patient record access accelerated, and pharmacy connections more dependable. Even though the backend complexity almost drove us insane during development, we are genuinely happy with how straightforward it seems.
